Mei Lin Meyers (b. 2002, Westmead) is a Neurodivergent, Chronically ill, Queer, Trans and Chinese-Anglo artist who lives on unceded Wangal Land. His playful practice merges sculpture, painting, drawing and writing. Mei Lin loves the strange connections between things ~ the hidden worlds shared between lemons, eggs, and piles of objects. Mei Lin makes and writes as a way to try and better understand their experiences of disorientation, racial trauma, Long-Covid and being an Autistic and ADHD guy in a hella spiky environment. Mei Lin draws upon Queer and Crip Theory, Critical Whiteness Studies and is a massive stan for the scholar Sara Ahmed.

Mei Lin is a lover of zhuizi, ginger, Stop Making Sense, pedastal fans, mind maps and cooking. His ancestors are makers (bookbinders, sewers, knitters, artists).

Mei Lin grew up in Greater Western Syd on unceeded Dharug Land (Northmead, Winston Hills, and Kenthurst).

Mei Lin has exhibited at PARI, Kudos Gallery, AD Space and Goodspace Gallery. Mei Lin was the Winner of the 2025 Kudos Emerging Artist Award. He was also awarded Highly Commended for the 2025 Tim Olsen Drawing Prize.



He is currently completing Bachelor of Fine Arts (Honours) at UNSW ADA.
